How do you treat burnout?

Burnout is generally treated by taking care of your physical health (eating well, exercising, getting enough sleep) and practicing self-care (spending time with friends or family). You can also treat burnout by thinking about what is going well in your life.

You can also get help from a therapist for burnout. Emotions like sadness or feeling hopeless are common during burnout. One way to cope with these emotions is to talk about them with somebody you trust. If the burnout gets worse over time, see your doctor. They can refer you to a therapist who will help you get better.

Some jobs are more stressful than others, which could potentially make a person more likely to experience burnout. But anyone can experience burnout regardless of what kind of job they have.
