Big questions my clients often come in with are "who am I now?" And "what does this life event mean for me or those around me." I have worked with many families and individuals that have gone through significant life changes due to death of a loved one or a loss of some kind. The loss could be a job, a sense of self, or a loss of a future that was impacted due to life circumstances. With any type of loss there are many complicated feelings and emotions associated with it. Through therapy, we are able to explore those big questions together. I graduated Simmons University and went on to receive a certificate in Palliative Care and End of Life through Smith College. My specialty is in grief, bereavement, and ambiguous loss which could mean focusing on specific behaviors, short term, or longer term therapy. Therapy is a partnership. As a therapist, meeting people where they are on their mental health journey is important to the therapeutic process.
