Introduction

Hi my name is Zhe Yu. I was born and raised in China, where I worked as an assistant to a psychological counselor for one year. In 2024, I graduated from Yeshiva University with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I currently hold a Limited Permit as a Mental Health Counselor in NYS. During my studies, I had the opportunity to intern at a psychiatric clinic in the Asian community, where I gained extensive experiences working with culturally diverse children, adolescents, and young adults. These experiences greatly broadened and deepened my understanding of cross-cultural communities, reinforcing my belief in the uniqueness and value of every individual. Over time, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the limitless potential and strength within each client who walks into the counseling room.
