Introduction

As a therapist, it is my focus to help you work through difficult and overwhelming emotions/situations. My clinical focus is LGBTQ services, sex and sexuality-related issues, anxiety, and trauma informed counseling. The work we will do together is focused on processing and exploring your emotions, early childhood experiences, systems you are a part of (family, work, peer, etc.), and present lifestyle. I work with both couples and adult individuals to identify and orient their life to a more self-focused and healthy way of living. The work of therapy, with myself (Bloom Therapist), is to explore your story with all of the harmful, overwhelming, and painful and help you to rewrite your narrative into a life-story you are excited to share. My theoretical orientation is focused on Person-Centered, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
