My name is Yvette Flores, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have 10 years of experience in the mental health field doing Direct Clinical Work, Case Management, Advocacy, and Community Development. My dedication to serving my community began since I was a young teenager volunteering at a local free clinic. I am passionate about fostering healing spaces and comunidad with the goal of creating a more socially-just future. I have extensive experience helping immigrants, children of immigrants, and BIPGM (Black, Indigenous, and People of the Global Majority) reaffirm their personal values and show up with confidence in their communities. I use an eclectic mix of tools grounded in cognitive behavioral theory, attachment theory, and internal family system theory, amongst others, to help clients reach their goals.
