Dr. Yuliya Wallace is a clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow with a Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Wallace acknowledges through our life experiences, we can develop habits and thinking patterns that can move us away from feeling like our true selves and disconnected from others. She aims to help clients increase awareness of those unwanted thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to break free from feeling stuck or disconnected. Additionally, she provides psychological evaluations to assist in creating diagnoses and treatment recommendations for ADHD, learning difficulties, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Dr. Wallace's therapeutic approach is collaborative, empathic, and informative. Her work is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and she incorporates dialectical behavioral (DBT) and trauma-focused interventions. Dr. Wallace has experience working with various presenting concerns including anxiety disorders, addictive behaviors, substance use, mood disorders, pregnancy and postpartum, trauma, and relationship issues. She has a particular interest in working with reproductive psychology, including individuals experiencing fertility challenges, and issues during the perinatal period. Dr. Wallace emphasizes the importance of building up a genuine therapeutic relationship that is warm, open, empathic, and has a bit of humor.
