Introduction

Yourdeline is Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a background working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Yourdeline primarily utilizes strength-based and cognitive behavioral approaches. Strength-based therapy is a form of therapy that focuses on an individual’s internal strengths, skills, and resourcefulness. This supports a positive mindset that supports individuals around discovering and building their best qualities, identifying strengths, and increasing resiliency. Yourdeline’s most utilized techniques are CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Talk Therapy, and Person Centered. Yourdeline has over 6 years of experience in counseling and works with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, mood disorders, and difficult life transitions. Yourdeline is passionate about meeting individuals where they are and supporting them with being able to put their best foot forward. Her approach is goal-oriented and individualized. Yourdeline believes that therapy can challenge people in a positive way to help them develop insight on themselves and develop the skills necessary to overcome difficult obstacles in their lives. She enjoys supporting individuals around not only understanding their mental health symptoms, but not allowing their symptoms to define them.
