I am a white, Latine, able-bodied, queer therapist. I acknowledge that my own identity intersections impact the therapeutic relationship and I work towards supporting clients in understanding the effects of oppressive systems like racism, capitalism, and patriarchy on their well-being. To me the most important part of my work is being an advocate and an ally. It is important to me that my clients feel supported and safe while working together. Through client-centered approaches, I can support you as we work through issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, identity, sexuality, relationships, and other concerns you might have. In addition to being a licensed professional counselor, I am also a board-certified art therapist and am able to utilize creative and arts-based approaches to therapy, coping skills, and treatment. My clinical work has also included significant experience working with victims and survivors to provide trauma-focused, client-centered counseling. There are 7.8 billion people in the world and yet it can still feel like the loneliest place in the universe. The struggle is real sometimes but you don't have to do it alone. I am grateful to be able to provide support and connection to anyone in need and walk with them on their journey towards wellness. Reach out now to continue your healing journey!
