Hello! I’m a dedicated and experienced marriage and family therapist, with a strong passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families who are facing complex mental health challenges. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University, and I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the same institution. I also have a Bachelor of Science in General Studies and Psychology from Charter Oak State College. My background includes extensive experience in both clinical and crisis intervention settings. I’ve worked in various roles in child welfare, including case management and social work positions across North Carolina and South Carolina, where I advocated for children's safety and well-being in foster care and adoption systems. Earlier in my career, I served as an adoption coordinator and parent educator, where I developed and facilitated parenting education programs and supported families in crisis. I’ve also worked with individuals in the substance abuse population, providing therapeutic services in both residential and outpatient settings, and offering individual and group therapy for those struggling with addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health issues. I am an active member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and Delta Kappa, the International Marriage & Family Therapy Honor Society. My expertise includes clinical assessments, treatment planning, and legal advocacy, with a strong focus on helping families navigate crises, heal together, and build resilience. I am deeply committed to fostering positive change within family systems and supporting families in creating lasting, healthy connections.
