Hello, my name is Yaritza De Jesus, and I’m a bilingual psychotherapist at Latinx Talk Therapy. With over a decade of experience serving the Latinx community, I hold a Master's in School and Community Counseling from DePaul University. I utilize evidence-based approaches like CBT, MI, mindfulness, and more to personalize therapy for each client. Humor is integral to our sessions, fostering connection and resilience. I'm committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment, offering therapy in English, Spanish, or Spanglish. My multicultural background as a half-Mexican, half-Puerto Rican, first-generation college student informs my empathetic approach. Beyond therapy, I'm passionate about dance, travel, and food. These interests enhance our therapeutic relationship, providing additional avenues for exploration. My specialties include trauma-informed interventions for adolescents, teens, and adults, addressing anxiety, depression, identity exploration, ADHD, interpersonal conflicts, career counseling, and more. My goal is to empower individuals to reclaim well-being, embrace their cultural identity, and lead fulfilling lives. You don't have to face your struggles alone; I'm here to help.
