I am a first generation QTBIPOC identifying Palestinian with over 15 years of pre-licsensed work in Chicago as an Educator and case manager. My experiences deepened my understanding of how intersecting identities and structural challenges impact our mental health, often disconnecting us from our authentic selves and the relationships and world we desire. Clients can expect a collaborative and compassionate environment rooted in curiosity, healing and mutual respect. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, anti-zionist lens, examining how systems of power shape our personal and group narratives and experiences. Beyond my professional practice, I remain committed to imagining a more inclusive world built with marginalized communities in mind. This commitment extends to my personal interests in political reading, podcasts, somatic learning, and connecting with nature and land. Feel free to ask about my puppy, or my newfound passion for birdwatching and plant identification!
