Introduction

I am a bilingual (English-Spanish) and bicultural Licensed Professional Counselor Associate committed to helping children, teens, young adults and women discover their own strengths and develop new skills to overcome life challenges. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, person-centered space for my clients to process, heal, make new discoveries, and grow as individuals and in their relationships. I have worked with children, teens, parents and teachers for over 14 years. My knowledge and experience as a former teacher, school counselor, and School-Based Therapist allow me to support the unique needs of all school-aged children including behavior, social, emotional, and mental health issues and/or disorders. Also, my knowledge of the public school system allows me to understand and support children/teens (and their parents) that need or receive accommodations in the school setting. In addition to my professional experience, my personal experiences in life allow me to better understand, empathize and support others, as they navigate life obstacles.
