Introduction

I have always cared deeply about the stories people tell about themselves. Our stories are sometimes filled with feelings of depression, anxiety, isolation, life transitions, and struggles to understand our own identities. Therapy can be a place where you can take back control of your personal narrative to reach your goals and understand yourself more deeply. I aim to collaborate with my clients to create a space that feels safe and affirming for them. I am affirming of gender, queer, disabled, and neurodiverse identities. I always seek to welcome, inform myself about, and affirm more communities into my work. My eclectic approach is strengths-based and client-centered. I often pull from CBT, narrative, harm-reduction, and systems theories. My background includes years of work with queer and trans youth, young adults, and their families within direct service settings, and I am excited to continue serving these communities. As a trans-nonbinary queer and neurodiverse person, I am deeply committed to creating a therapeutic space that is welcoming and understanding of all identities. It takes tremendous courage to look for a therapist that fits your needs - if you think I might be that person, I look forward to connecting. At this time I am taking out-of-pocket clients and can provide sliding scale on as needed basis.
