Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut, Texas, New Jersey, and Virginia (Connecticut LPC: 6632Texas LPC: 78816; Virginia LPC: 0701010791 New Jersey LPC: 37PC00934800) Life can be hard and feel unmanageable at times, having someone to truly listen and develop a relationship can go a long way towards feeling better. That is why I believe that a therapeutic relationship is such a special relationship. I completed my Master of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision from National Louis University. I have worked with people who are struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, life adjustments, chronic illness, and working through sexuality and gender identity concerns. I utilize person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you feel better and strive towards achieving your full potential. When we work together I view my clients as the experts and I work with you to create goals that you want to accomplish. We work as partners on your journey that can include working on personal boundaries, feeling more confident, or reducing problematic behaviors or thoughts. I am here to serve you and am honored to be a part of your recovery and growth! This practice is open and affirming of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
