For 20+ years I’ve worked with adults, couples and teen girls. Each client is unique, so each session is too. We work together to determine what you need and adjust as we go. For some, we access, identify and focus on managing feelings; for others, we focus on reshaping old thinking patterns getting in the way. My work often includes education, whether it’s learning about the brain and how it affects our functioning, or learning coping, mindfulness and communication strategies to manage life and relationships. My goal is for each client to leave therapy with relief from immediate struggles and confidence in handling what’s to come.
