Introduction

After 20 years in the world of education, I left the field of school counseling and began my career as a professional counselor. As a middle school counselor I encountered various situations and am a pro at conflict resolution. I have enjoyed the last few years in professional counseling especially getting to really assist people and watching their outlook on life improve before my eyes. As a Christian, I find that leading people to God's word and their role as an image bearer has a direct impact on mental health. My main counseling techniques are cognitive behavioral (because teaching was my first career) and solution focused (because sometimes leading someone to solve their problem can be helpful), but I also use mindfulness, emotional freedom, and a variety of other techniques. Really, I will do whatever it takes to assist you in your journey. If you need something I don't currently use, I am not opposed to learning new techniques on our journey together. If you are ready to work together with me, please fee free to request an appointment so we can begin our journey to freedom and peace.
