Introduction

I have always been sensitive to the emotions and needs of others, but I didn’t always know what to do with that gift. Growing up, I carried a lot of adult responsibilities while struggling with mixed race identity, immigration, poverty, and a general sense of belonging. Those experiences impacted my view of self and how I interacted with the world. Through my own healing work, I now see how my experiences have prepared me to do the therapeutic work I’ve done in Black and Brown communities. I know vulnerability with a stranger is hard. I prioritize authenticity and a collaborative approach to ease your discomfort as you look within. I am committed to providing support, understanding, and at times will hold a mirror to your face through this self-explorative journey.
