Introduction

I am an East Asian therapist located in Niles and Chicago. I provide care for immigrants, international students, BIPOC, and Asian Americans who live with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, or trauma. Through a collaborative relationship with me, you will gain tools to care for your emotions and empower yourself. Your life experiences, struggles, and strengths deserve to be honored and seen. A trusting and loving therapeutic relationship with me will help you rediscover your self-love, self-compassion, and confidence while exploring the impacts of your life stories on your current self. My specialties include inner child therapy, body-mind connection, trauma healing, and dance/movement therapy. Self-love is essential to our well-being. Caring for your inner child would help you find gentle love for yourself and care for your loved ones. Despite what happened in your life, you deserve to be loved by yourself and others. As a queer Asian immigrant therapist, I understand the complexity of the intersectionality of our racial and gender identities as well as the acculturation process. As a dance/movement therapist and psychotherapist, I believe that our bodies hold the wisdom to help us cope with stress and survive trauma. When you are ready, you may request a free 20-minute consultation.
