Dr. Rueff is a native Jacksonian and graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Ridgeland, MS. He graduated with honors from Millsaps College, earning a BS in psychology and human services, as well as the Gordon Alport Award for Psychology. Dr. Rueff earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. He completed his internship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville, TN, where he specialized in adult psychotherapy, forensic psychology, and intervention and assessment of chronic pain. After his doctoral training, Dr. Rueff completed a clinical psychology fellowship in interdisciplinary mental health at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. Dr. Rueff is experienced in treating and assessing a broad variety of mental health issues. He specializes in treating anxiety and trauma related disorders, including Generalized Anxiety, Specific Phobia, OCD, Panic Disorder, and PTSD. He also has expertise with a variety of assessment needs, including psychoeducational (ADHD, Learning Disability, Giftedness/IQ, testing accommodations), pre-procedure (spinal cord stimulator, bariatric surgery), and specialized personality and forensic evaluations. Dr. Rueff is licensed in Mississippi and Alabama and is now accepting new clients.
