Introduction

At my private practice, Coastal Therapeutic Services (CTS), I am a bilingual licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) specializing in the assessment and treatment of adolescents, young adults, families, and couples with various mental health diagnoses and life struggles. I strive to help you, your teen, or your family find what a life worth living means to each one of you and figure out steps to get there when life may seem too overwhelming or hopeless. I am committed and passionate about bringing a realistic, collaborative, and transparent approach to therapy in order to work towards overcoming life’s challenges together as a team and figure out goals to create a more meaningful and balanced life. I want to be able to help you feel more empowered to take control of your life and discover insights, strengths, and skills to use. I am compassionate, empathetic, and straightforward. I use humor often, when needed, and also able to gently challenge you in moments to grow. I pride myself on being transparent and provide feedback (as well as receive it) well and often – that’s how we build and strengthen our relationship and trust! I have a thick skin, so be direct as you need to be. My areas of expertise include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapy, trauma-focused therapy, functional family therapy, and couples therapy. Currently accepting: high-school aged adolescents and older Currently open to providing clinical supervision services to pre-licensed candidates. Inquire for more information.
