I’m Juan Chapa, a faith-based, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. I believe in honoring the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. As a faith-based clinician, I welcome and integrate your unique spiritual, religious, or philosophical beliefs into therapy to help build resilience, courage, and inner strength. My purpose is to serve as a lighthouse—a steady and compassionate guide on your journey toward healing. I provide a safe space of unconditional acceptance where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered. You may find yourself anxious in relationships, constantly seeking reassurance or fearing abandonment. You may leave before others have a chance to hurt you. You want to trust, but past experiences make it difficult. You might be struggling with spiraling thoughts, feeling disconnected from your body, or stuck in patterns rooted in trauma. In our work together, you’ll learn how to understand your thoughts, emotions, and nervous system responses. We'll process your triggers, reprocess past trauma, and build tools to help you feel grounded, in control, and more connected to yourself. As healing unfolds, life begins to feel more authentic, and relationships feel safer, more balanced, and more fulfilling. Most people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, unsure, or exhausted from trying to “figure it out” on their own. You’re not alone. My approach blends evidence-based practices, nervous system education, and intuitive insight to support your transformation from surviving to thriving. Send me a message or give me a call—I’d be honored to walk this path with you.
