Introduction

As the Founder and CEO of VIP Counseling, Coaching, and Consultation and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor(LCPC), Victoria brings 19-years of professional work experience in the mental health and social service fields. Victoria is an eclectic clinician who utilizes a multimodal, evidence-based approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as her foundation; mixing in Family Systems, Coaching, Solution-Focused and Reality-Based theories and techniques. In addition, she employs the use of humor, story-telling, direct challenging, psychoeducation, authenticity, and genuine and compassionate care to assist clients’ in reaching their personal goals. She tailors her use of these approaches to each individual client, always working from a holistic integrative mind-body connection lens. Victoria is LGBTQ+ affirmative. Therapy is more than just talking, it’s about processing, understanding, connecting feelings and how they impact your functioning. We begin by combining psychotherapy, evidence-based practices with mind-body therapies. Our goal is to assist clients with healing and connecting with their authentic and genuine self. We strive to provide clients with a neutral safe space in which the clinician listens to your concerns and develops a customized treatment plan. Little bit about Victoria: Victoria is a bi-racial (African American and German) woman. She is a proud mother of 3 children and 4 fur babies, as well as a wife to a K9 Police Captain and Army Veteran. In Victoria’s spare time she enjoys advocating and promoting mental health integration into the law enforcement profession. She currently assists police departments nationwide through VIP Crisis Consultation in the establishment of crisis intervention/ mental health/ social service programming and also works part-time as a Police Crisis Worker in her hometown. She is also busy working on her dissertation for her PhD in Organizational Leadership.
