After a 15 year career in trauma advocacy and non-profit leadership, my decision to become a counselor stemmed from a desire to journey with my clients for a more extended part of their journeys. Today my work is about inviting individuals and couples into experiences of exploration, understanding and growth toward the lives that they proactively want to lead. My hope is to offer support that promotes self compassion and authenticity while prioritizing choice and empowered voice pressed toward new actions/behaviors. My therapeutic style offers an integrated approach to recovery and development with the use of narrative trauma therapy, lifespan integration, expressive and arts therapy as well as sex and body based counseling and development opportunities.
