Victoria Hazell is a graduate from Adler University who studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to obtaining her Masters degree she studied Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies. She has a lifelong passion for social justice which she incorporates in her counseling. She is dedicated to advocating for her clients, providing support, and continuously offering a holistic approach that accounts for multicultural factors. She practices person-centered therapy and is always willing to use other orientations to benefit the client. She has experience with CBT, Feminist Therapy, and Mind/Body approaches. In the past year, through her internship at Wright community College, she was able to counsel a diverse population of clients. She gained experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity. Victoria believes in meeting her clients where they are in their life and providing a safe space, filled with empathy and authenticity.
