Introduction

You are the reason I do what I do. I am enlivened when I work with people committed to creating relationships that bring them joy with the people they care about most. Before getting to where I am today, I spent over 15 years working with people of all ages, stages, life perspectives, strengths and challenges. I made it my business to be well versed in many modalities and fell in love with supporting children, those with differences in abilities (specifically Autism) and their families, couples, survivors of trauma and parents navigating the parenthood journey. I also worked with professionals helping them to build the private practice of their dreams so they, too, can use their special gifts to help the people they love working with most. I worked with anyone I knew I could support. After some time, while I knew that I was incredibly successful working with almost anyone, it became clear to me that that my work’s meaning came from working with individuals looking to improve their relationships, couples, parents and people looking to become parents. While I still will work with children and teens, the most powerful access to desired change and growth was when I engaged parents in the work. There is no more significant job I can imagine than that of a person raising a child. I kept meeting and being referred to people that wanted me to work with their child when the true work started with the parent-the gatekeeper of their relationship! I got called the “parent whisperer.” It became clear to me how much unresolved, unexpressed and unexplored trauma there was impacting a person’s ability to have the connections they craved with their child, and it was the reason they were having challenges putting into practice the strategies they were learning from books and coaches. Over time I developed a compassionate, heart-centered and straightforward approach to working with individuals and couples that is truly unmatched. My mission is to connect people to their authentic selves so that they can develop the kind of compassion, love and understanding that not only heals them from the experiences that created the reasons why they have the challenges they experience, but gives them access to love, joy and connection. This is the kind of freedom I am committed to creating with people for their lives. It is my honor and privilege to be on this journey with you!
