My name is Velma Penermon Stevens, Therapist at Soulistic Counseling and Therapeutic Services, LLC. With 26+ years as a social worker, 8 years in pastoral care, I have a unique perspective in both the spiritual and secular world view. I’m experienced with depression, substance use/abuse, anxiety, grief & loss, domestic violence, caregiver support, and marriage/family/relationship issues. I specialize in crisis intervention, solution focused therapy, cognitive therapy, storytelling, narrative therapy, strengths based, reality therapy, mindfulness, and family systems. Christian approach to therapy is also available if desired. My treatment modalities are client specific and designed to restore balance during your time of crisis. I love to work with individuals, families, couples, veterans, and groups to help regain their mind-body-soul connection.
