Introduction

Have you ever thought why is this happening to me? How can I work through these feelings to become a better me? Nobody understands me? In these unprecedented times, these feelings are not uncommon but it is imperative to learn healthy ways to adjust and adapt. I am a direct and compassionate therapist that provides a safe space for individuals of all orientations, cultures, backgrounds and identities. I work closely with the adolescent community as well as individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, stress, work/life balance, relationship issues, academic issues, grief and traumatic experiences. My practice entails assisting individuals using approaches such as Cognitive - Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma - focused, Strength - based, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. I am under the supervision of Jamy Rivera, LCSW, President of Equanimity You. Here at Equanimity You, we help you to learn skills that you can use in your daily life to help bring balance and coping with stressors. Join me on a journey of self-care , self-discovery and healing.
