Introduction

Vanessa Rodriguez Vargas is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) with more than 6 years of experience providing mental health services to various populations, and diagnoses. She works primarily with adults that are looking to reframe therapy as “archaeology of the mind;” to gain mastery over the “bones” of the past, present, and future. She is currently finishing up her Doctoral dissertation in Psychoanalysis, Society & Culture; and, is writing about the impact of the physical space and context of a filmic experience. Clinically, she utilizes a psychodynamic, and existential therapeutic approach using an intersubjective lens that emphasizes the importance of the individual. She has collaborated with prescribers (nurse practitioners, primary care physicians, and/or psychiatrists), inpatient and outpatient facilities, medically assisted treatment facilities, and countless other medical professionals in order to provide exceptional care to their mutual clients. Vanessa is also able to offer assistance to Master’s Level clinicians that need help with calculating their clinical hours to be able to submit their licensing paperwork. As of 11/2024, she has become a public notary; which will help clinicians be reassured that their hours will be accepted by the Boards, and complete another separate requirement for the LMHC licensing application. She has tutored Master’s level clinicians in studying for their licensing exam. Vanessa has experience working closely with attorneys that are looking to obtain psychological evaluations for their clients. If you are interested in any of these services, please contact Vanessa directly. When meeting with a client for the first time, Vanessa allows them to decide what they’d like to discuss, without pressure or judgement: “you’re the one driving the train, I’m here to help put fuel in. What’s the destination?” If you’re ready for the journey, schedule an appointment with Vanessa today. VVRV ≈ Verve noun | liveliness « pour la jouissance » pulchritude > schadenfreude
