Introduction

Feeling disoriented, deflated and just tired can make it hard to experience joy. How can I walk alongside of you? Are you ready to regain balance? To break cyclical behaviours and thoughts? Or to grow in deeper intimacy in your relationships. My specialty is most helpful for individuals, couples and families looking to navigate life’s challenges. I believe that experiencing freedom brings out the best version of you. In sessions, I offer grace and ease to allow you to feel safe, seen and heard. You and I will confidentially work together towards lasting change. It takes courage to begin the counselling process and I am happy you found me. As a Registered Social Worker with over 16 years of experience, my intersectional identities and diverse professional, academic, and lived experiences deeply inform my therapeutic approach. My career spans various public institutions, including the criminal justice system, child welfare, and municipal government, where I have led efforts to create meaningful change and advocate for reconciliation, belonging, and recognition for marginalized communities. In more recent years, I am privileged to offer counselling services; facilitate provincial equity and anti-black racism courses; and lecture in the behavioural psychology and behavioural science program.
