I strive to provide individualized treatment for every person in my care. I believe that each individual has a unique set of circumstances that bring them to therapy and those experiences shape the therapeutic relationship. I want to encourage clients to work towards their goals while respecting the boundaries and obstacles they face along their journey towards mental wellness. I have dual Master’s Degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Education. My background in education consist of teaching elementary and middle school children, which allows me to connect with children and adolescents very easily. I also have worked with parents and guardians to overcome hurdles associated with parenting and kinship care. Therapy can be new and overwhelming for many just starting their journey to mental wellness. My hope is that those I work with reach self-actualization and equip themselves with the tools necessary to deal with all of life’s stressors. I aim to empower those that I work with to advocate for their specific needs and gain confidence in their life choices.
