Hello! I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families with a variety of life concerns/stressors. I have experience with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, grief and more. I believe everyone has struggles and challenges in life and sometimes we need a little help. Taking care of our emotional/mental health is extremely important, and I encourage my clients to become more aware of the "mind/body" connection. As a therapist, I strive to be authentic, non-judgmental, and empathetic. I will work with you to determine your goals for therapy and encourage you to take the lead on deciding where to begin. On the other hand, if you are feeling "stuck," I can offer guidance while promoting self-determination. Clients have described me as "down to earth" and find it easy to discuss concerns and stressors. I believe life can be rather difficult, and most of the time, we are all doing our best. I don't believe in "lecturing" my clients or shaming techniques as these methods are often ineffective anyway.
