Valerie Kellam Ward, LCSW-C has over twenty years of counseling experience working with individuals across the lifespan, with a primary focus on working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, life changes and transitions. She provides individual, family, and couples therapy. Her counseling experience also includes working with clients with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Philosophy of Care: Valerie believes through self-acceptance, people can retrain their brains to embrace a meaningful quality of life. The use of cognitive behavioral therapy and existentialism are frequently used as a way of understanding worldview.
