Introduction

I have been a professional counselor for 18 years, working with children, adults, families and couples in a variety of settings, including outpatient therapy, residential mood and substance abuse treatment, primary care clinics, and the crisis hotline. My approach is individualized to your specific needs, and could involve a blend of play therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused approaches, skills-building, trauma processing, or even just talking and figuring out where to start. I want to provide a safe, accepting, affirming, and healing space for you to do your work. Going to therapy may seem challenging or scary at times, but our common goal will be to help you find what you need to grow, survive, and hopefully, find your "hózhó," the Diné concept of beauty, wellness, health, and balance.
