Therapy is an opportunity to explore the self and develop coping skills in the areas that YOU want to improve and NOT because you need fixing. Together, we’ll foster acceptance of the self, others and the world around us. My goal is to help you have meaningful relationships- with others and especially yourself. Whether it’s dealing with daily stressors or major life changes, therapy can provide essential insight and coping skills to help you get through this time. I am invested in helping you effectively deal with whatever comes your way and ultimately thrive. I employ a cognitive behavioral approach, which challenges your belief systems and behaviors. I consider history of experiences, societal expectations and other factors that contribute to unhelpful thoughts and behavior patterns. My approach is secular, LGBTQIA allied and sex positive. I specialize in relationships, sexual health issues, anxiety and depression. Going to therapy requires vulnerability, honesty and the will to introspect. That’s why I foster an environment that is supportive, inclusive and empathic, while reserving judgement. Therapy can help you understand yourself better and break patterns that are preventing you from living your best life. It’s always the right time to reach out for support!
