Introduction

I have a strong client-centered approach to my work and believe each individual is best qualified to determine how they desire to construct their life.  My approach helps to deconstruct the parts of the self that become obstacles to obtaining what we want for our self in life.  Sometimes the work begins with simply trying to understand what it is that we want for our self, but ultimately the exploration is around what is getting in the way of accomplishing these personal goals and objectives.  Assisting one in this process of deconstruction leads us on a clearer path to begin to construct the life we want. I have been Licensed (#R072582-01) to practice in New York State as a Clinical Social Worker since 2002, having completed over 20,000 clinical sessions during this time. I obtained a MSW from the University at Albany (2002) and Masters in Social Science (MASS) from Binghamton University (2002). Prior to individual private practice I was employed in group practice in a public outpatient clinic (2002-2012) and a private outpatient clinic (2012-2021). I am certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Masters level practitioner, as well as being strongly informed by the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) model.
