I work with women of all ages, from a relational and trauma-informed perspective. I believe that harm occurs within relationships or in their absence, and to heal, we must heal together by forming new relationships with ourselves and others. This means that we will work together to address what is arising for you in your mind, heart, and body. Having a trauma-informed perspective involves understanding how our nervous system functions to protect us and form connections. With untreated trauma, our bodies and minds can get stuck and malfunction. We can explore your story through narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or expressive art techniques. Through this process, you will likely feel more stable and grounded, increase your capacity to manage life’s challenges, and regain a connection with yourself and others.
