I am a licensed psychologist with experience working with all age ranges. I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology at University of Minnesota, Mankato, and my Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University in California. My clinical training has been primarily in neuropsychological assessment and delivery of evidenced-based psychotherapy practices. In my current practice, I provide psychodiagnostic interviewing and personality assessment, cognitive assessment (including ADHD testing), supportive therapy, and time-limited brief psychotherapy (typically 6-16 sessions, depending on diagnosis and treatment plan). I also provide brief behavioral assessment, education, consultation, and behavioral care planning related to behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) – this service is meant for families and care partners providing care for someone living with dementia. I am passionate about providing access to quality mental health care to all who seek it. I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral framework; however, I take a collaborative approach with all of my clients and understand that flexibility is important to foster my approach to each of my clients' needs. I have expertise in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, binge-eating disorder, end-of-life issues, older adult issues, caregiver support, addiction, and tobacco/nicotine cessation.
