Trisha is a Licensed Professional Counselor, earned her Master’s in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University in 2009, and is also a Texas certified school counselor. Trisha has experience in private practice working with adults, adolescents and couples. She has been in education since 2002, as an elementary and middle school teacher for 10 years, and currently as a high school counselor since 2012. Trisha has a desire to working along the side of couples and individuals, adolescents and adults, to help them navigate through life’s journey. Her counseling experience and background is with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, aggression, grief, stress and eating disorders. Trisha also enjoys working with individuals on their college and career plans after high school. Trisha is invested in emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach. She utilizes a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR Therapy, Gottman Therapy, and Solution Focused, particularly concerned with better emotional and relationship health. Trisha married her husband, Randy, in 2006. They have two amazing sons and one sweet Boxer. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, traveling, working out, reading, seeing movies, or just relaxing.
