Cultivated Wellness Psychotherapy, LLC is here to support you at your own pace, being present with you as you process events in your life, and helping you to determine the path of your future. ***** As a therapist, I support young women who are looking for increased self-esteem, strong confidence, and amplified self-compassion. I am a firm believer that all women experience grief. Grief is present in all people’s lives, stemming from a variety of lived experiences. I work with women to move forward with their lived experiences as an alternative to moving on from them. My approach allows you to reflect on your life experiences, acknowledge them, identify the emotions surrounding your experiences and learn to comprehend what hardships you have endured, while honoring yourself in the process, and decide what you want for your future life. I will be present with you in acknowledging the impacts of grief in your life as well as how it has manifested in your past, present, and even future experiences. Take control of your life today, you deserve a healthy, enjoyable future. One that does not dismiss the challenges you have faced, but seeks to help you acknowledge those experiences and work towards creating a future that is both fulfilling and safe for you. Start understanding how environments interact with you as well as what you want from it in return. Move forward with past lived experiences and work towards creating experiences that you desire and deserve. I practice with a feminist strengths-based lens that encompasses ideology from systems theory and an intersectionality framework– more specifically understanding that one is impacted by various socioeconomic influences such as family dynamics, peer network, environmental setting, class, religious structure, sexuality, gender, race, disability and education. Using this lens allows me to foster a trauma informed approach with empathetic understanding and unconditional positive regard for all populations of peoples.
