I believe that therapy is a partnership and I seek to gain a trusting and caring relationship with all my clients. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have experience working in community mental health with at-risk populations and in a residential setting. I enjoy working with adolescents, adult individuals, and families with issues such as: depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, substance use, and family of origin issues. To help clients move forward in their goals, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), body based approaches, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as primary therapeutic approaches. I believe in strength-based and solution-focused methods to help clients meet their goals. Together we can work on the goals that are important to you! Please call or email to see if my therapeutic approaches are right for you.
