I was trained in Depth Psychotherapy at Pacifica Graduate Institute (PGI). I have high regard for the principles of Depth Psychology where the soul and the unconscious motivations are highly considered in the therapeutic practice. I later came to understand how disembodied the work of psychotherapy could be, so I began training as a yoga therapist to welcome the body to the therapeutic process. I earned a second Masters degree in Community, Liberation, and Ecopsychologies from PGI where I became more aware of the collective and individual psychological impact of oppression and poverty. I strive to integrate these teachings and ancient practices with the psychotherapy I offer to my clients. I have specialties in prenatal and perinatal psychology, trauma recovery, grief and loss, and end of life care.
