I believe one of the bravest things a person can do is begin to understand their own story. How do we come to believe, think, feel, and understand the world around us? Are you finding yourself overwhelmed or struggling with everyday responsibilities, struggling with the effects of addiction, or are needing help healing through trauma or a strained relationship? Life can be beautiful, but it can most definitely be challenging. Asking for help can be scary, but seeking support may be just what you need to find that sense of happiness and fulfillment you've been missing. With training in CBT, which helps identify negative/inaccurate thinking patterns and respond more effectively; DBT, which teaches new skills to support emotional regulation and distress tolerance; EFT, which helps couples gain secure attachments, rely on each other in times of need, and have vulnerable conversations; and addiction and trauma specific interventions, I work jointly with each client to identify needs/goals and develop an effective treatment plan. I understand that each client I work with is a unique individual influenced by their culture, family, values/beliefs, and personal identity. I strive to honor and respect the uniqueness of each person I treat. I am committed to cultivate an environment characterized by respect, appreciation, and inclusivity for all individuals. While I understand the importance of insurance coverage, I have made the decision not to directly contract with insurance companies. This allows me to prioritize the quality of care and flexibility in treatment options that I can offer to my clients. By operating independently, I can focus on providing personalized client-centered therapy without being restricted by insurance requirements or limitations on session length or treatment modalities. Additionally, as an out-of-network provider, I can still offer you the option to seek reimbursement from your insurance company for therapy services at the out-of-network rate, providing you with greater freedom and control over your treatment journey.
