I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in the state of Colorado. I have been practicing therapy in a clinical setting since 2012. I have worked extensively with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including: enhanced outpatient treatment, residential treatment, youth corrections, school-based counseling, and private practice. I am passionate about helping people reach their goals and create the most fulfilling life possible. I was most recently the treatment provider for Eagle county’s Drug Court and DUI Court programs. I left this role in May 2021 to focus on my own practice. I have been seeing individual clients in a private practice setting since 2014 and I started teletherapy in 2018. Through a mindfulness-based approach, I create an empathetic and empowering atmosphere to facilitate the change process. In my practice, I utilize approaches and tools from several evidence based treatments including: Dialetical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. My areas of specialty are addiction/substance use concerns, disordered eating, stress, anxiety, and self-esteem. I believe that every person has their own unique needs & we will work together to discover the most effective path for you. If this sounds interesting or you have further questions, please contact me and we can discuss if we would be a good fit together! My Education: I graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After ski bumming for a couple years, I went to the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver for my Master’s Degree in Social Work. I secured a job in the mountains after graduation so I could follow my passion for helping people, but also adventuring outside daily.
