Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from High Point University, a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University, and numerous hours of post graduate training in psychodynamic trauma work from various providers as well as post graduate training in sex therapy from The Buehler Institute and Sexual Health Alliance (SHA). Tracy is also a trained EMDR trauma psychotherapist through an EMDRIA approved provider and a Certified Meditation Practitioner. Tracy sees adults for individual and relationship therapy at her private practice located within Doctors Park Psychological Center. These services are in-person or available statewide via telehealth. Therapy with Tracy includes a nonjudgmental space to share concerns where confidentiality and emotional safety are paramount. Trauma dynamics Tracy treats in psychotherapy include military/combat trauma, first responder trauma, generational family wounds, vicarious knowledge, grief and loss, sexual abuse, attachment wounds, and other life-threatening events. Common sexual concerns addressed in therapy are desire discrepancy conflict, low libido/desire, painful sex (dyspareunia), vaginismus, perinatal sexual concerns, orgasm difficulties, out-of-control sexual behaviors (often defined as "sex addiction"), sexual trauma, intimate betrayal trauma, psychogenic erectile dysfunction, ejaculation difficulties, intimacy enrichment, alternative relationship dynamics, and shame around pleasure. In addition to therapy, Tracy is an educational small group speaker for topics on sexual health and dysfunction, sexual trauma, and relational dynamics. She is also available for consultation with medical or mental health providers on complex cases.
