Introduction

Counseling is a learning process that is rooted in self-awareness. By paying attention to when and where you may be living life on autopilot, and identifying, learning, and strengthening the skills that will help you to find more success in your relationships with both yourself and others. you can live a life that is more intentional. Using a combination of exploration and education, cognitive-behavioral principles and social-emotional skill building, we can collaborate together to help you achieve a better understanding of yourself, your strengths and challenges, and the steps you can take to maximize your social and emotional health. My treatment approach is both cognitive-behavioral (focused on the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors) and psychoeducational (promoting the building of a social-emotional toolkit). I have worked in private practice and school settings for over 20 years, supporting adults, teens, and tweens through symptoms of anxiety and depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress management, self doubt, and somatic concerns.
