Tracy Leman is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. She graduated from Fuller Professional School of Psychology with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2007. Tracy works from a strengths-based, compassionate, gentle approach as she guides clients to gain insight about their inner lives and trust themselves. She uses tools and ideas from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, mindfulness, meditation, and self compassion practices to address symptoms of anxiety, panic, depression, and ADHD. She has worked with teenagers since her college days and loves nothing more than empowering young people to care for themselves and grow in confidence. Tracy has expertise in working with adoptive families providing parent coaching and play therapy from an attachment-based perspective. She has a special interest in working with birth parents and transracial adoptees Tracy is certified in Perinatal Mental Health to better assist parents navigating the intense life change of pregnancy and parenting. Tracy is interested in supporting people who are recovering from religious trauma, deconstructing their faith, or working on reintegrating spirituality into their lives, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community who have been harmed by religious groups. She is dedicated to a feminist, anti-racist life view and is happy to learn and grow with clients seeking similar values. Tracy believes that the success of the therapeutic process is based on the strength of the relationship between client and therapist, and she is honored to be selected by her clients for this role.
