Introduction

Hello there. I am Tracy Aronlee, LCSW and I am so glad you are here! No matter what age, every person has a deep desire to be loved and to belong. We thrive when we feel valued and appreciated and we all need someone who truly sees us for who we are and loves us even more because of it. I imagine you found your way here because there is something in your life that feels off or causes you or your loved ones distress and I am here to say you are not alone. Chances are you’ve been working hard on solving your problem and I want you to know that acknowledging you need support and reaching out are often the first steps on your individual path towards healing and wellness. I am grateful to support you as you explore your path towards a more peaceful, well-balanced and enjoyable life. With a passion for helping those struggling with interpersonal issues, relationships and the ever challenging family dynamics I have a specialization working with family systems regardless of the age of the individuals (it’s never too late to work through issues!) Additionally, I have a focus on supporting individuals through both big “T” trauma (major events normally seen as traumatic such as death of a loved one, natural disasters, violence, abuse or serious accidents) and little “t” trauma (events that don’t involve violence or disaster, but cause significant distress in one’s life). I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings with children 3-17 years old, adults 18+ years old, couples and families. My approach to Therapy: I believe anyone can benefit from therapy and while many people may face similar issues, I view each person, couple and family I work with as unique and work alongside you to create a collaborative, individualized treatment plan. I value the trust and emotional connection that is essential to productive therapy and encourage you to contact me for a free, 15-minute consultation to allow us to get to know each other, ask me questions and see if you feel it will be a good fit to work together. When it comes to values I prioritize: Compassion Community Individuality Curiosity Playfulness Empathy Trustworthiness A Little Bit About Me: I grew up on the East Coast and moved to San Diego in search of more sun. I graduated Cum Laude from Simmons College School of Social Work in Boston, MA with my MSW and received my undergraduate degree from Stonehill College in Easton, MA. I also have previous experience as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) working in hospital settings supporting children, teens, parents and families through acute and long-term illness, grief and loss. I am a proud mom of two and dog mom to one. When I find time to prioritize self-care you can often find me outside enjoying the fresh air, gardening or doing yoga or inside baking my super secret chocolate chip cookie recipe (okay fine I’ll share it with you) to give to others. Let's Connect: Please feel free reach out via e-mail by clicking "Contact" above or by clicking "Request Appointment" to schedule a free 15 min phone consultation to meet and see if we would be a good fit to work together. I look forward to connecting with you soon! LCSW (CA 83778)
