Traci Schaeffer

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Alphabet Soup Counseling
Available this week
Specialties: Anxiety, Trauma, LGBTQIA+

Introduction

I'm passionate about helping people work through their challenging feelings and trauma responses. My areas of focus are PTSD/CPTSD, childhood trauma, religious trauma, and issues related to being a sexual or gender minority. (It's ok to call/email even if not everything you are dealing with is on my list. I'm stating this clearly because many people with CPTSD are neurodivergent.) I have experience with trans and intersex clients, and am accepting teens and adults currently. I do video visits only, and I know that doesn't work for everyone. I work with Open Path Collective (openpathcollective.org) to improve access to mental health care, so please check them out if I'm not what you're looking for! I do have an income based sliding scale available and I'm in network with Healthcare Highways and BCBS.
