I’m Topher Scott, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) practicing under the supervision of Lesley Lanier Smith, LPC-S. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. In addition to my clinical training, I’m a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200 certified), Reiki Master, and functional nutrition trainee. My practice takes a five-dimensional approach that emphasizes mind, body, spirit, collective consciousness, and heart. This holistic framework guides every aspect of my work, honoring the deep interconnectedness of healing and growth. I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ and LatinX individuals navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. My approach examines the intersection of values, beliefs, behaviors, and challenges. I help clients build emotional flexibility, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen communication. I also support the integration of psychedelic and spiritual experiences, with an understanding of ancestral trauma and the enduring effects of colonialism. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Polyvagal Theory, functional nutrition, pranayama, vinyasa yoga, and breathwork to support lasting healing and transformation. My goal is to offer a compassionate, affirming space for growth, embodiment, and authentic change.
