Feelings and behaviors happening for you now are intending to protect you. You learned some of them in a real hurry in the past. You also learned them in a societal context of oppression that continues to affect everyone's mental health. With IFS, EMDR, and a focus on the body, we can get to know the you that can access self-compassion, curiosity, and calm. I invite you to pause and listen to the wisest part of yourself, even if it is only a whisper right now.
